You’re Invited: GVNA 42nd Annual Legislator Reception
I’m excited to share an upcoming advocacy opportunity that closely aligns with our shared commitment to advancing nursing’s voice at the local and state levels.
The Genesee Valley Nurses Association (GVNA) is hosting its 42nd Annual Legislator Reception on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Basil Hall.
This event brings together nurses, nursing students, and elected officials from across the seven-county region to engage in meaningful dialogue around nursing priorities, health policy, and community impact. It’s a great opportunity to show up as nurses, connect with legislators, and reinforce the importance of advocacy as part of our professional role.
We’re also honored to hear from Community Spotlight Speaker Julia Tedesco, President & CEO, highlighting the intersection of health, food security, and community well-being.
